I’m A self-confessed perfectionist!
(Hence the name!)
The first series of The Great British Bake Off in 2010 was the catalyst that started my journey. Baking cakes and cupcakes for friends and family my hobby rapidly grew. It quickly became a business that I ran alongside my full time sales and marketing job and part time lecturing job. When searching for our first house we found the perfect place with 2 kitchens, it was meant to be.
It’s been an evolving process but I’ve truly found my style and passion within modern cake design. I’ve developed the business I have today, where I love inspiring other cake makers and helping them on their journeys whilst feeding my own creative passion as a luxury cake maker.
I’m a mum of 2 boys and wife of a car salesman. I enjoy the countryside and dog walking, holidays (on the rare occasion I get the chance) and the occasional ride out on my big, 4 legged field ornament.
